This is a stunning and unique colour block maxi dress from the late 60s or early 70s by high-end Italian label Gino Paoli. This label was popular from the 1950s to the 1970s, well known for their knit clothing and use of colour. It sold at luxury department stores in the U.S. such as I.Magnin. This straight-cut dress features panels of solid colours and stripes. It is sleeveless and closes at the shoulders with gold tone buttons and hooks and eyes. It also has bra strap holders at the shoulders. There is a slit in the left side seam and the hemline is variegated. It is unlined.

CONDITION:
Holes: There is an area on the front green panel which has a lot of moth holes and a faded stain. There are a couple of other moth holes throughout. 
Stains: Some light yellow stains on the front top striped panel. Some small, light stains on the bottom half of the skirt. 
Stitching: The left side seam stitching is coming undone where it meets the slit and needs reinforcement here. It needs hook replacements at the shoulders. The neckline facing (interior of dress) at the back has a small tear in it.
